A lifelong dream of mine has been to start a games company. Along with my partner-in-crime, Zach Hobbs, we've banded together to make some of our fun ideas into a reality. We wanted a logo and branding that was somewhat playful, but had a sense of edge and sophistication. Thus, the Skwid was born!

The goal of this website and application UI design was to help inform the user more efficiently while setting precedent for design on the rest of CityGrid products. My solution was to pull all of the site's scattered information into a one-page design by hiding the information the user isn't currently interested in. When designing the user interface for the reporting web app, a similar minimalist approach was taken, letting the presentation of data "be" the design. A great challenge meets great success!

Nostalgia Electrics has ridiculously fun products. The company slogan itself tells the whole story: "Life's a party!" This website design was also an electronic press kit bundled on an interactive disc. This really was a fun project to work on, and a bit refreshing to make something different than other press kits.
